At the direction of the Manager, the Sr. IT Project Manager is the single point of contact, plans, directs and manages the tasks and activities for the assigned project (s) to ensure that the goals or objectives of the project are accomplished within the defined scope, time frame and funding parameters using the Client’s IT project management methodology. This is a 50% remote and 50% onsite position.
Responsibilities:
- Create and Manage multiple project (s) from original concepts through final implementation using Client’s IT project management methodology & tools.
- Provides coaching and support to PM’s using the Client’s IT project management methodology and tools.
- Ability to manage Virtual Teams & partners with Executive Level Leadership (Client & Affiliates) using project scope, work plans, status reports, resource management, to deliver the project deliverables with quality.
- Ability to use Microsoft product suite including MS Project, Smartsheet and SharePoint.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience managing medium to complex projects as a Project Manager.
- Possess 7+ years’ experience in Information Technology.
- Demonstrate Organizational, Analytical, Interpersonal Communication skills.
Required Licensure/Certification Skills:
- PMP certification or College Academic equivalent degree or certificate.
